4 High Protein Snacks That Taste Like Dessert

Need some healthy high protein snack ideas that taste delicious??

Here are 4 yummy options that are super easy to make and totally double up as dessert.

Bounty Protein Balls

Ingredients
  • 20g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 20g Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut
  • 50g Coconut Oil
  • 30g Medjool Dates
  • 10g Coconut Flour
  • Dark chocolate (>75% cocoa)

Mix all ingredients together well and then roll into balls. Dip in melted dark chocolate (stick to over 75% cocoa) and put in the fridge to set.

Chunky Nut Protein Bar

Ingredients
  • 80g Mixed Nuts (I used walnuts, almonds & hazelnuts here but use whatever combination of nuts you like)
  • 50g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 25g Honey
  • 10g Flaxmeal Soaked in 30 ml of
    water for 20 mins
  • Dark Chocolate (>75% cocoa)

Mix all ingredients together well and then shape into bars. Dip in melted dark chocolate (stick to over 75% cocoa) and put in the fridge to set.

Caramel Choc Protein Bar


Ingredients
  • 50g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 85g Medjool Dates
  • 15g Lucama Powder
  • 20g Coconut Flour
  • Dark Chocolate Coating (>75% cocoa)

Blend all ingredients together well in a food processor and then shape into bars. Dip in melted dark chocolate (stick to over 75% cocoa) and put in the fridge to set.

 Simple Vanilla Protein Bar

  • 50g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 30g Coconut Flour
  • 3 Drops of Vanilla Essence
  • 30ml Almond Milk (1/8 cup)
  • 10g Maca Powder
  • 5g Desiccated Coconut
  • Dark Chocolate Coating (>75% cocoa)

Blend all ingredients together well in a food processor and then shape into bars. Dip in melted dark chocolate (stick to over 75% cocoa) and put in the fridge to set.
