These days protein powders are becoming more and more popular for gym workouts and recoveries. But they are also becoming very popular for a meal replacement while at work or an additional snack between meals. And for good reason. They are super convenient. And depending on which protein powder you choose can be a much healthier snack than the options available to you at the cafeteria at work. Or when those 3pm cravings hit.
Either way. If you are having protein shakes, how do you choose the protein powder for you? With so many of them on the market this can be difficult and they can be sooo different! We think that it is always super important to check ingredients labels. Stay away from powders which are high in sugar and other nasty ingredients.
Today we will go through the Real Energy Food Plant Fusion Protein review.
Plant Fusion Protein Review – What Is Plant Fusion Protein Powder?
But before we get started with our Plant Fusion Protein review, let me start by saying if you can stomach a whey protein powder, then you may be better off reading my reviews on Tera’s Whey Protein Powder or Naked Whey Protein Powder. To be honest I think they have healthier ingredients lists and don’t have any added sugar at all. But if you are looking for a plant based, vegan friendly protein powder than this one is a pretty tasty option. So if it is flavor that you are after, keep reading my Plant Fusion Protein review as this is one of the better sweet protein powders available. It is definitely not as bad as a lot of the protein powders out there! It’s just not quite as good as Naked Whey and Tera’s Whey.

Plant Fusion Protein Powder Shortfalls
There were a couple of things that I didn’t like about Plant Fusion Protein Powder. The sizes aren’t super convenient and I don’t love the added fructose. Here is what else I didn’t like.
- They add both sugar and stevia. There is no need to add sugar to protein powders in general, and especially if you are already sweetening the powder with stevia. This being said, this is still a far healthier option than many protein powders available today. I prefer to consume fructose than artificial sweeteners or flavors. I just prefer the protein powders that are sweetened just with stevia and natural flavors.
- Should be a larger size. It comes in sizes up to 2lbs but I would like to see sizes closer to 3lbs.
Plant Fusion Protein Powder – What I Really Like
If you can get past the things that we didn’t like about Plant Fusion protein powder, there actually were some good points too. Check below.
- Taste great.
- Great for those who cannot have dairy products & vegan friendly. This is a plant based protein powder.
- Healthier than many other protein powders.
- Mixes very easily.
