This is super easy recipe and I like to make sure that I make enough to have this for a couple of nights!
I love to cook once, eat twice!
It’s also super easy to substitute any veggies or protein source into this recipe. It works great with chicken, tofu and any veggies you have in your fridge.
I used gluten free soy sauce when I made it this week but a great soy sauce alternative is coconut aminos which you should be able to get at your health food store.
Beef & Broccoli Stirfry
Ingredients:
- 400g beef strips
- 3 cups chopped broccoli
- 2 cups chopped cauliflower
- 2 cups chopped mushrooms
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- olive oil
Directions
Drizzle a little olive oil onto a large fry pan or wok and add the beef. Stir-fry until cooked through and then take out of the pan.
Add into the pan the chopped red onion and saute until it starts to become translucent.
Next add in the broccoli, cauliflower & mushrooms. If the pan gets too hot as you cook these veggies just add a little water in the bottom of the frypan and let them steam a little.
Once the veggies have started to get soft then add back in the meat.
Add the soy sauce and honey and mix well with the chopped red pepper.
Serve with or without rice or noodles.
